Niklas Samuelsson will be appointed as CEO of Savills Sweden and Niklas Zuckerman as Head of Investment. Anders Nordvall will be appointed Deputy CEO of Savills Sweden. In addition, Savills has recruited Mikael Fasten who will join the investment team as a director. The new team will be in place in December 2018 and in the interim period the Swedish business will be chaired by Johan Ericsson, the former Catella group CEO and a consultant to Savills. Anders Nyström, who has been Head of Sweden since 2013 will be stepping down from his CEO role as part of the changes.
New hires Niklas Samuelsson will join Savills Sweden from CBRE, where he was Deputy Managing Director for CBRE Sweden from 2014. Prior to this, he was at Catella for seven years as a Partner. Niklas was awarded Swedish Real Estate Transaction Adviser of the Year 2017.
Niklas Zuckerman has been hired from Cushman & Wakefield, having joined in 2014. In his most recent position as Head of Capital Markets Sweden, he played a key role in repositioning the company and is one of the most experienced senior advisers in Sweden. Prior to this Niklas worked at Catella for over 12 years.
Anders Nordvall will also join from Cushman & Wakefield, where he joined from Catella in 2014. Anders is one of the most experienced advisers in the Swedish market and has held a number of very senior roles. Including CEO of Catella Corporate Finance Sweden and CEO of Cushman & Wakefield in Sweden. Anders has a strong reputation for sourcing and implementing major investment transactions.
Mikael Fasten will join Savills from CBRE with Niklas Samuelsson. Mikael is currently Head of Capital Markets for CBRE in Sweden and has a 20 year career in the investment markets, having previously been at DTZ.
